FTs of Pre-whitened PG 1456 data

Prewhitening in the PG 1456 data    02/05/11 00:34:43 UT
--Full-sized GIF --1/2-sized GIF --Gzipped Postscript Version
Upper panel: total FT of the PG 1456 WET data. Six frequencies to be prewhitened are indicated with arrows. Middle panel: FT after prewhitening these 6 signals. Three more variations stand out of the noise. Lower panel: FT after prewhitening all 9 signals. Evidence for more is present.

Other PG 1456 Plots

The FT of PG 1456 over time    02/05/10 02:04:30 UT
--Full-sized GIF --1/2-sized GIF --Gzipped Postscript Version
This plot shows FTs of PG 1456. Upper panel: the two-site data from 2001; on the basis of this complicated FT the star was deemed worthwhile as a WET target. Middle panel: the FT of pre-WET data taken 2-3 weeks before the run. The pulsation amplitude had decreased drastically. Lower panel: the FT of the present WET data set. The pulsation modes are growing back, and they are readily detectable by the WET.
